Having a bad day? Watch an Ernst Lubitsch movie. Extra points if you can catch a local cinema playing them (they often do in nyc).

Some classics include “To Be or Not To Be”, “Ninotchka”, “Heaven Can Wait”, “Trouble in Paradise” (pretty raunchy pre-code 😉), and of course “The Shop Around the Corner” which “You’ve Got Mail” was based on.
